One of the things the doctor told us Friday at Violet's 12 month checkup is that, with the exception of peanuts, there are no restrictions on food and we should offer her a WIDE variety of things to try. So today when she asked for it, I gave Violet a piece of my jalapeno-stuffed olive to try...and stood back and watched for a reaction...she started kicking and pointing and asking for more. She loved it. Then she wanted to try the peperoncini, and she loved that too.
Moral of the story is...don't tell me something if you don't mean it.
