Violet is just about 19 months old and we really noticed a huge change this month in her ability to communicate with real, honest-to-God, actual words. Where I used to list the new words on one hand, now I cannot keep up. While I'm thinking about them, here a a few of the latest:
'tilla (for tortilla)
'mali (for tamale)
Her favorite..."light" and "hole"
And my favorite..."Love"
She can also mumble something that sounds like the melody to A, B, C and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. She loves to sing and will sing on command if you ask her, which I do a lot as a distraction when she's mad. It usually makes her forget she's mad, which really is what singing is all about, right?
