We took Violet to her 2-year well-check this week and she did great. Apparently getting weighed and measured is frightening, but getting pricked in the finger is cool.
We learned that Violet suffers from allergies. Not a surprise living in Austin, but a bummer nonetheless since I hate to put her on any daily meds. We are trying Claritin for 1 month to see if it helps with the sneezing and runny nose which have been really bad lately. She takes it with no problem and calls it "juice".
She is also a tad bit anemic so she also gets an iron supplement. Hmmmm...wonder if she likes liver??
She grew to 24 lbs 12 oz and 33 1/2 inches tall. Fun Fact: apparently if you double their height at 2 years you can predict their adult height. If this holds true, Violet will tower over me at 5'7".
Other notes: She can eat peanuts now and we can switch her to 2% milk (from whole) so she starts to get her fat from other sources.
